From the house of Milan to the new address in Ticino
A move in Lugano requires a complete description of the property even when the destination looks close to in Milan. The route and the handling are only part of the work; before departure, the information necessary for the transfer to Switzerland must be clarified.
Preparing the goods for Lugano
For the arrival house documents ramps, external stairs and private passages if present. The geographical proximity does not say anything about the possibility of getting a mobile to the floor. A bulky wardrobe can require more preparation than many ready boxes.
The time of delivery
Distinguish the personal effects from any property purchased for the new home and communicate the reason for the transfer. The documentation must be checked on the concrete case: the page does not require exemptions or replaces the indications of the competent authorities.
A useful list to compare the quote
For each furniture it indicates dimensions, possibility of dismantling and presence of delicate parts. For boxes it communicates quantity and indicative measures, distinguishing those already ready from those still to be prepared. Evide the elements that cannot be stacked and the goods of weight or particular nature.
The quote must be compared to the same inventory and the same activities: packing, load, transport and assembly are not all understood only because the proposal is about move. Any additions or exclusions must be communicated to update the work. A readable list is the starting point to discuss a suitable solution.
Before travelling to Switzerland, check with DUDA the information required for the goods and consult the competent authorities for the formalities applicable to your case.
