Specify the country of the delivery point
For a transfer to the Basel area it is essential to indicate the complete address and the country of the exhaust point. A generic reference to the city is not enough when the accommodation is located in a nearby municipality and the request concerns a border area.
Preparing the goods for Basel
Prepare a separate list if part of the goods arrives at home and leaves in an office. For each specific place reference person and availability. This avoids setting a single delivery when you actually need stops with different accesses and modes.
The time of delivery
If the load includes work equipment, describe them before confirming and not insert them as simple boxes. Weight, size and nature of the goods may require specific evaluations. Documentation should also be referred to the actual transfer, without automatically extending valid indications for other cases.
Enter each stop in your request
When the work includes multiple retreats or deliveries, each point must be described with address, access, referent and assigned goods. An additional stop can lead to different times and operating modes, even if it is located near other buildings.
Use distinct lists and a consistent numbering of packages. For goods stored in boxes or cellars, check that nothing remains hidden in the initial estimate. The quote is built on the route and actual activities; the subsequent changes must be communicated to check availability and updated conditions, instead of considering them included on the main journey.
Before travelling to Switzerland, check with DUDA the information required for the goods and consult the competent authorities for the formalities applicable to your case.
