Delivery ordered in a house already inhabited
If the house of Bern is already inhabited, the move must fit into spaces that contain other furniture. Before choosing what to bring from Milan, measure the available areas and clarify which elements will be removed or moved before arrival.
Prepare the goods for Bern
A selective inventory helps to avoid overlaps between existing and new furniture. For the furniture to be mounted, leave the work space free, not only the final one occupied by the furniture. Any additional internal movements must be described in the request.
The time of delivery
It agrees with those who receive and which rooms can be used as temporary support. The boxes should be distributed without blocking doors and passages. A simple plant with label-consistent names makes the placement of goods more clear and limits subsequent movements.
From inventory to environment accommodation
For the complete house service, you can request the preparation of the boxes, the protection of the furnishings, dismantling and reassembly. Indicates what activities you will perform personally and what you wish to entrust to DUDA: the proposal must describe the actual work. Include local accessories and objects that are not seen in the main photographs.
Before loading, check that the list is final and report any changes. Upon arrival, a clear distribution of the packages leaves room for assembly and reduces subsequent movements. The adaptation of the furnishings or installations requires a separate evaluation from the normal transfer.
Before travelling to Switzerland, check with DUDA the information required for the goods and consult the competent authorities for the formalities applicable to your case.
