From storage to two addresses: separating furniture, boxes and components
A guarded furniture together can have to reach two different destinations: one part in the new home, the rest in a second home or at a family member. In this case the main problem is to maintain the correct combinations. Dividing the load by address requires more than two coloured labels: complete lists, associated components and operational indications are required for each delivery.
Create two lists starting from inventory
Use existing codes and add a column with destination A or B. Write the full address in the legend, without relying only on names like “new home” or “mom”, which can be unclear to the operators. Make sure every neck has one destination. If a box contains objects for both addresses, it signals the need to separate them and ask how to organize this task before loading.
Keeping together what is needed for assembly
For each cabinet, check the doors, shelves, feet and hardware. A direct wardrobe at the A address cannot be completed if the accessory container is assigned to B. The same applies to apparently independent modules but connected by common components. When you want to divide a modular furniture, ask for an assessment of the planned configuration: not all compositions can be separated without verification. The photographs of the original collection help to explain the request.
Collect operational information for both addresses
Each destination has its own access route, floor, elevator and space available. Communicate this data separately, attaching images when necessary. Indicates a contact person for each place and verify who can open doors or gates. If a house is not yet ready, do not automatically consider it possible to leave the necks in the other as a temporary solution: this change may require successive movements and a different organization. Decisions must be shared before departure.
Agree sequence and delivery windows
The order of addresses depends on the path, load and operational availability, not only on your personal preference. Explain any real needs and ask what solutions are possible. An urban delivery and an outside province may require a program other than two nearby drains. Avoid precise timetables to the recipients before the plan is confirmed. If a party has to remain in storage, add a third state clearly identified in the inventory.
Close each delivery with your own list
Give each referent only the list of packages he has to receive, maintaining a general copy for coordination. Record any changes and check that the accessories have arrived with the corresponding furniture. At the end, you bring together the results of the two deliveries in an updated inventory. This step avoids looking for an object in the wrong place and allows you to quickly distinguish what has already been returned from what remains to be programmed.
