Moves within Italy involving several addresses: a list for each stop

A national move can include a in Milan retreat, some items from another apartment and deliveries to different destinations. In these cases, the main difficulty is to keep the association clear between each piece and its address. A single list without explicit destinations can create equivocs already during loading.

DUDA Traslochi — National Move with multiple addresses: build a list by stage

Assign a code to each place

Identify addresses with shortcodes, such as origin A, origin B, destination C and destination D. Then bring the arrival code next to each mobile and on each box. The code must have a shared legend: it is not enough to use colors that only one person can interpret.

For each stage it keeps a complete address, plan, access information and contact details of the contact person. If an address is still to be confirmed, make it clear. The planning of the route cannot be based on a provisional location presented as definitive.

Separate lists before packing

Prepare a list for each combination of origin and destination. A box with objects for two different houses complicates control and may require unforeseen openings. It is preferable to separate the contents from the packing, even when they would occupy little space together.

Components of a mobile must maintain the same destination. Check shelves, hardware, doors and extensions: the furniture can be unusable if an accessory ends in the other house. Use the same identifier for all parts and report any shared elements or yet to assign.

Evaluate the operational sequence

Communicate all stages before the proposal, indicating constraints and availability of referents. The sequence should not be defined only for personal convenience: the load must be considered, routes, access possibilities and times of operations. An intermediate delivery can affect the way the vehicle is loaded.

Do not ask to add a deviation as if it was always irrelevant. Also a geographically close stop can involve movements, waits or changes to the load. Changes must be communicated and agreed, so as to know the consequences on the expected service.

Use a different summary for each delivery

Each recipient must receive the list of the only goods that concern him. This way you can check your arrivals without looking for information in a very long general list. However, keep an overall copy to check the conclusion of all stages.

At the end of each passage note what has been delivered and any questions to be clarified. A single coordinator can collect updates and transmit consistent instructions. In the move with multiple addresses, information accuracy is an integral part of travel organization.

For example, if six chairs are divided between two houses, it indicates the quantities on both lists and identifies each group. The general total must coincide with the sum of the intended deliveries, without leaving implicit assignments.
