Separating operational verification from agreements
The control after the move is to understand if all the goods planned have been withdrawn and if you have left the objects that had to remain. The lease obligations depend on the agreements and must be verified in the appropriate locations. To organize the work instead prepares a concrete list: property furniture, appliances that remain, keys and accessories to be delivered. The team must know which elements are not part of the load.
The areas that are forgotten more easily
Don't limit yourself to the main rooms. Check the balcony, storage room, cellar, box and the spaces above the closets. Open every drawer of the furniture that remains, without relying on the memory. A small box in a secondary compartment can escape a fast control. If a local is not accessible on the day of the site visit, please report it and update the inventory before transfer. Accessories that belong to the house
Remote controls, shelves, handles and keys should not be mixed with the hardware of the transported furniture. Prepare an envelope labeled with what must remain, agreeing to the delivery with the owner of the property. Do not disassemble fixed components thinking that they are necessary in the new home. If it is unclear to those who belong to an item, solve the doubt before it is packed. Distinguish the load content avoids subsequent searches.
The moment of the final round
Reserve a range to control when the load is completed and the environments are free. Always follow the same path, room by room, and compare it with the list. You can take pictures to document your control, without interpreting them as a substitute for delivery agreements. Report any items to be withdrawn immediately, so you can check if they fall into the agreed work and if you can handle them at that stage.
If you deliver the house to a person other than the owner, please clarify in advance how to arrange the presence and delivery of the accessories. The move and the key appointment can have different times. Avoid engaging the team in activities not only because a contact person has not yet arrived: make these appointments visible in the program.
A closure without missing objects
Keep in one place documents, personal keys and luggage that will travel with you. Do not leave these objects on surfaces intended for the dismantling. Before moving away, check the path used to recover any packaging or small accessories.
