What we assess during the survey
For a move in Milan, we assess the quantity and type of furniture, dismantling and reassembly needs, fragile items and packing required. We check the floor, lift, stairs, courtyard and route between the home and van.
Together we assess possible furniture lift use, outdoor space, parking requirements and temporary storage. Gathering these details before the move helps define the work and quote conditions.
How to prepare for your appointment
Identify what you are taking to the new home and what will stay. If available, prepare the delivery address, preferred moving period, furniture list and access details for the other property. You can use our free inventory tool before the appointment.
From survey to quote
After gathering the information, we prepare a proposal tailored to your move. The survey does not oblige you to accept it or automatically reserve a moving date.
Questions about the free survey
Is the moving survey always free?
Yes. DUDA surveys are always free, with no obligation. You do not need to pay to submit an enquiry or arrange the appointment.
Why do you recommend Sundays?
We prefer Sundays because they help us plan appointments and devote time to assessing your home and furniture.
Can I suggest another day?
Yes. Select the option for a day other than Sunday and enter your preference. We will check our schedule and contact you to agree the appointment.
Is the date I select in the form confirmed?
No. We receive your enquiry and check the schedule. Your appointment is confirmed only when DUDA sends you the agreed date and time.
Does the survey also confirm my moving date?
No. The appointment is to assess the work and prepare a quote. The moving date is agreed separately.
