DUDA Traslochi — Documents for move in Milan: what to check before the expected day

A full PDF folder does not necessarily mean that the preparation of the move is complete. Some files may be drafts, other copies exceeded and other documents to sign or submit. Before the expected day it is useful to check not only that each file exists, but what function it performs and what its state is. This checklist covers the organization of documents connected to the external space and the signs; it does not replace the specific requests of the office or pretends to list all possible attachments for each type of intervention.

Open the modules to prepare practice or visit the Utility section for move in Milan.

Application and authorization are different documents

Start by verifying the distinction between what you have prepared and what you have received. The completed application describes a request; it does not show on its own that the space has been authorized. Keep the copy presented with any delivery references and store the documents issued by the office separately. In the file name avoids words as “approved” if they do not represent the actual state of the practice.

Read the documents received and check the correspondence of location, period, surface and conditions. If you find differences with the program, clarify them before distributing instructions to the team. Do not let the copy easier to find, perhaps a first quote, become the reference for everyone. The initial control is precisely to identify which document contains the operational information to be used in the next steps.

Identity check, contact details and location

Check that the applicant and the subject represented are correct and that the contact details allow to reach those who follow the practice. If more people collaborate, establish who keeps the final version and who responds to communications. An unupdated phone number can also complicate a simple clarification. The information inserted in the modules must belong to the current practice, not to the one used as a model.

Then go to the addresses. Compare street, civic and trait interested on all relevant documents. For a building with entrances on two roads, clarify which access will be used. For a job with different departure and arrival, check twice. Do not consider the destination checked only because you checked the load. The article on the two addresses proposes a folder structure that helps keep this information separate.

Notices, signs and declaration of laying

Before printing compares alerts, dates and references with updated documentation. Check that each copy is readable and belongs to the correct location. The time guide available in the Utility is used to consult the prescriptions and the table, while the compiled notice contains the data to be reported on the sheet. They are linked but not interchangeable files.

After positioning, check the laying statement: it must describe the actual activity carried out, be completed in the relevant parts and signed in accordance with the required modes. Keep the copy used and the track of communication. Do not mark the stage as it is finished only because you downloaded the blank module. If a verification or a match is still pending, indicate the status clearly in your operating list.

Prepare a simple file to consult

An essential structure can contain a folder for the application, one for the received documents and one for alerts and communications. It is not necessary to multiply subfolders if the work is simple, but it is necessary to avoid the definitive copies being mixed with print tests. Use names with the type of document and a reference to work, keeping personal information accessible only to those who need it.

If you also prepare a printed file, check that it matches the latest digital version. Highlight the pages that need to be consulted on the spot and verify that the references are legible. An incomplete application print or missing attachment can go unnoticed when you quickly browse many sheets. The verification must concern the content, not simply the number of files or pages.

One last check before leaving

The previous day, or at the time suitable for the program already defined, compares the file with the team: addresses, times, contact person and documents to carry. If a variation emerges, do not silently correct a single sheet leaving in circulation discrete copies. Identify what needs to be updated and check with the office the consequences on practice when necessary.

In the Utility you will find application, notice and declaration in PDF, as well as instructions to save your data. The models are practical tools, while the checklist serves to govern their use. For the moment, there is no personal online archive that recognizes which documents you have already completed: it then keeps copies on your device in an orderly manner. When you can distinguish request, authorization, exposure and communication, it becomes easier to understand what is ready and what still requires attention.

Documents and sources to be consulted

Check the information applicable to your practice and the prescriptions attached to the concession. Last control of sources: 31 October 2026.
