Study the complete path
In the center of Milan the decisive point is not only the address. Between the road and the apartment there can be a narrow gate, a courtyard, steps and difficult curves. Before the site visit describe each section of the route. Indicates whether the medium can approach the input or if the material must be handled for a greater distance. A sequence of photographs helps more than one image of the façade.
Measure points that can stop a mobile
It detects the useful light of doors and lifts, not only the external width of the frames. Photograph the direction changes of the scale and the landings. Compare this data with the encumbrances of the furniture that do not disassemble easily. The final evaluation of the passage and equipment must be entrusted to the operators: avoiding assumptions before work reduces the risk of changes at the last moment.
Agree to condominium access
Ask who opens the courtyard, if there are agreed time slots and how to use common spaces. Organize the protection of the pass points and keep the exits free. For a possible furniture lift, space, support and possibility of reaching the plan is required. The presence of a balcony is not enough on its own to establish that the vehicle is usable.

On roads with regulated access and occupation of public space you must check the conditions applicable with the competent offices and the authorisation requirements.
