Move partial and assets remaining in Milan
For a partial transfer to Lyon, it is necessary to make immediately recognizable the goods that leave. If the house of Milan remains inhabited, furniture and travel boxes can be found next to objects that must remain.
Prepare the goods for Lyon
Use consistent labels with a numbered inventory and agree which environments will be affected by the load. Photographs should also show the excluded elements when they can create doubts. The final selection must be completed before the team starts operations.
The time of delivery
In Lyon, check whether the delivery is for the whole house or just a room. The furniture already present can limit the space for the reassembly; report what must be moved or prepared before arrival. The move thus becomes a clear sequence of activities, without improvised decisions during discharge.
A useful list to compare the quote
For each furniture it indicates dimensions, possibility of dismantling and presence of delicate parts. For boxes it communicates quantity and indicative measures, distinguishing those already ready from those still to be prepared. Evide the elements that cannot be stacked and the goods of weight or particular nature.
The quote must be compared to the same inventory and the same activities: packing, load, transport and assembly are not all understood only because the proposal is about move. Any additions or exclusions must be communicated to update the work. A readable list is the starting point to discuss a suitable solution.
