Give a selection criterion
Preparing the boxes emerge objects that you no longer use but which may interest others. Divide them by type and conditions before deciding what to propose. Avoid lots described as “everything you see”: crowded photographs and vague descriptions make it difficult to know what is included. A simple list allows you to choose whether to sell a single piece or to give a set.
Single pieces or consistent batches
A particular lamp can deserve a dedicated card, while a series of equal containers can be presented as a lot. Indicates quantity and measurements, material if known and status of each element. Do not attribute value from collection, authenticity or era without elements that support it. If the lot is indivisible, clarify it in the short description.
Show size and defects
For mirrors and decorations photograph front, back and details of the supports. Shows chips, scratches or missing parts. For electrical objects describe the known operation and report what has not been verified. Images should help you understand proportions and conditions, without including personal data or family photographs in the background.
Prepare an orderly delivery
Put together the pieces of the same ad and use a label to distinguish them from the objects they have to move. Protect the fragile parts and agree if the picker has to carry boxes or other material. Indicates a realistic availability window, avoiding overlapping appointments to the main load. A gift also requires an agreement on the withdrawal: gratuitousness does not eliminate the need to organize people and times.
