A few items from Milan: assessing groupage
If you need to transfer from Milan only some furniture or part of the personal effects, you can ask if there is a groupage solution suitable for the route. The evaluation starts from the compatibility between the load, path and availability on the dates. It is not enough to have few objects to automatically make this organization possible.
Describe exactly what you have to start

The number of furniture does not tell by itself how much space will be needed or what protections will be necessary.

The groupage requires you to verify the possibility of coordinating more needs along a path. It then communicates a realistic interval for withdrawal and delivery, distinguishing the days impossible from those only less comfortable. Avoid declaring yourself flexible if the keys are only available on a precise date.
Ask how the final window is confirmed and how you will be notified. If you need to book a personal journey to receive the furniture, wait for operational indications sufficiently defined. A shared organization should not be based on a unilaterally hypothesized date.
Clarification of identification and movements
Ask how your packages are identified and what steps are expected before arrival. Knowing if the load remains on the same medium or if intermediate movements are contemplated, it allows you to better understand the operating path. Do not deduce this information from the groupage only term.
Labels must be readable and well fixed, but no detailed personal information is required outside. An agreed order code and a progressive number can be more useful than a very long description. Store a copy of the delivery check list.
Compare the overall result
Ask if the proposal includes the pick-up inside the house, the transport to the floor and the possible reassembly. A delivery on the street floor is not equivalent to the arrangement of the furniture in the rooms. Protective material and packaging disposal must also be clarified when they fit into your needs.
Evaluate groupage on the basis of the entire service and acceptable constraints for you. If the date is inderogable, or an object requires a particular treatment, it immediately communicates these conditions and ask which solution can satisfy them. The best choice is that compatible with the concrete transfer.
